I did enjoy it, and quite a lot. You get into Aoshi and Soujirou's minds really well, although I kind of wish there had been more finalization, more conclusion, I suppose. I still feel like I'm waiting for an ending. Maybe that's always how it is when I've been reading a story based so heavily on stream of consciousness; anyway, I liked it, and thought it was excellent.
