Hello, there's a lot yet to be claimed at the brand new

rk_claims! ^-^ Three people have commented on the idea and mentioned some claims they'd like; I couldn't help but go ahead and give it to them, ya know? Especially after

mistressboleyn discussed which version of Sanosuke we'll take. :P

Anyway, members get 7 claims each, since there's so much to claim in the RK world.
I've already used up all of my claims, so it's all up to you now! ^-^
Check the list, then claim away! :D

And I'll decorate the journal itself some other time.

This is the site of the person who does the Olive Crown doujinshi. The art is really cute. Used to be able to mail order the doujinshi, but now they ran out. (I guess...? I don't know. -_-;)

...Um... There was another site with some doujinshi, but apperently it's down. I'll post the link when it's back up. =/ The art wasn't that nice anyway though.

EDIT: This is the other site I mentioned before. (http://yellow.ribbon.to/~melonhatsuki/) It's yaoi. (Though that's pretty obivious. ^^;) Um, the art is kinda like an old manga in style so personally, I didn't like the art that much, but it is AoSou.

Now that our numbers are rising slightly (8 members wooohooo! ^^), I think I can start with a small contest. ^^ An icon contest.
Now, those of you that don't make icons are rolling your eyes and saying, "Oh great, well I can't do that."
WRONG! You can! ^^ In this contest, I accept completed icons as well as a fully described idea for an icon, including a link to the picture(s) you had in mind. Sort of like a request...but for the community. lol.

Oh, gods, I actually joined a community! And I'm posting! @_@

First things first: I am so very glad to have an AoSou community at last. I don't feel so tragically alone anymore. Of course, I wouldn't really be alone, because I've seen fics scattered about here and there, but I needed the community to feel loved and to find that sense of belonging.

Second things now: I'm a moron who almost never writes anything, but at least I tend to contribute to discussions, and I will probably love anyone who posts linkage or recommends/writes a good AoSou fic. (Like

faerytale's fanfiction.) ~~I worship her writing because she influenced two of my OTPs.~~ Ahem. Yes. I'm sorry. I won't act like a terrifying stalker like that ever again. Anyway...

Also I love Soujirou to bits, who can't love the little guy? Aoshi-sama's hot, too. ;3
Interesting pairing, btw, though I have seem some scans of them at the yaoi shrine.
Yaoi's not too big of entertainment to me, but I can and do get enjoyment out of it. Although, if you know me, I'd have to say my favorite ship is SaiSa. Maybe I'll join that commun., too.

Well, here is this faery. Mayhap this community will get her motivated to finish the really awesome AoSou she's got in progress. Also, I had bunnies for another one recently, inspired by Soujirou's player in an RP I'm in. And if neither of those two ever shows up, there's always The Promise of Immortality. Maybe. ^__^;;; Too many projects. Anyway, thanks to Midori for getting me into this pairing in the first place. And, yes, my icon is totally inappropriate for this place. I just like it so much I can't stop posting with it. Sowwy :D

Edit: Well, whaddya know? It worked. Already wrote a whole paragraph. That's not much, but it's more than I've written on This Beautiful Dissonance in, like, a year...

A Slice of the Wind - Deena's story, which started it all.

Blue Eyes - The only Aoshi/Sou website around, which has fanfics and lots of lovely doujinshi scans.

Kuroiyousei.net - Kuroiyousei's website, which has several AoSou fics along with lots of fics about her signature couple, Saitou/Sano.

Iron Puncher - Linc's website. Head over to the fics section and read "Trash," her only fanfic featuring AoSo. I haven't had time to read it yet, but Kuroiyousei recommended it, so it's bound to be good.

And finally...

Wandering Samurai - This is my RK fanfic website. I share it with Susan, my partner in crime. Head over to her section to find "A Reason for Love," the AoSo fanfic she wrote for me.
