Hi, this place is kinda 'eh' now so want to just have a discussion?
So, I'm curious as to why you all like AoSou anyway? It's a cliche question, but a very easy one to come up with off the top of your head.

I like it because I think that their personalities match well. In canon, they didn't get much time together, so it doesn't hold much water in that respect. However, I think if things were alittle different, or not at all, as some fanfic authors write with canon story line only with AoSou in the back ground. I thing Kaz did it that well.

So... talk to me?

I like Aoshi/Soujirou because...hmm. Actually, it isn't my OTP or anything. But it holds a certain fascination for me, possibly because of the personalities. Sort of the same reason Soujirou/Misao seems interesting, I guess. It's something new, something different, and relatively unknown, heh.
And they are both so very attractive. XD

I totally want to see a fight between Soujirou and Aoshi, though. That would have been pretty cool.

I have my finals coming up in a month so soon I won't have anytime either. -_-

I used to like Sou/Misao alot too, but the quality of the fanfics has gotten worse after 'Crimson Skys' finished and a lot of people didn't realize that you have to have the two meet before they can get together. They weren't traveling together in canon, ya know. >.>;

I agree, a fight between the two would be very interesting. I wonder who would win. I'd think Soujirou would, but that's probably because I'm a Sou fangirl. ^^;

I think Soujirou would win...because he's so FAST. Yikes. :)

Mmmm, fanfic. I don't really read fanfic per se, unless I know the author, or randomly run across something in an unusual way.

angrybee has some YUMMY fanfics, though. I don't think any are of the Aoshi/Soujirou variety, though. Ah well. Though, if you want a nice Aoshi one, Sundial (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1675263/1/) is quite the awesome. :)

*shrugs* I'm really not sure... they work well together, they click at a whole lot of points, I guess. It's actually a sort of lazy appeal (for me) in that respect, because it makes them easier to write. I've got another pairing I'm trying to get going, and it's so damn difficult to get the guys together that I've been working on the story for, like, a year now with nothign posted yet because they're obstinate. Not so AoSou... they just gel. That's probably how it goes for me.
